Very dissappointed with this package, I assumed it was the follow up to Ulead Video Studio 10 which was good but not compatible with W7. This software is not very user friendly and very slow.I shouldn't have bothered to buy it.

Unless you have a top spec machine this software is going to use up all your resources and crawl to a halt.
The software is basically good but needs a lot of ram etc. to get the best out of it.

Mea culpa I suppose, in that I didn't read the spec. I expected a movie editing programme whereas this is nothing of the sort.
So, make sure you are aware of it's limitations.

The anti-virus software seems to be working perfectly on my families PC's so no complaints at all there. My only word of caution is that i was not at all prepared for the time it takes to do the first update - it took forever. On install you are asked if you want the software to update from the internet or continue from the disc as the update is reconmended i obviously chose that option. After 10 minutes of my PC doing nothing i cancelled that and did the full install from the disc (i did have 4 other PC's to install this on) and would update after installation was completed. I did this but it must have taken at least 30 minutes to finally complete the updates which considering I have 50mb broadband i think is excessive. In the end i simply ran the disc through the other PC's and left them alone while i went to get dinner so cannot comfirm whether they took as long to update.

Kaspersky internet security is a great anti-virus, which I have never found to let viruses in (sometimes it is a bit to secure and blocks things that are safe). However it does have an effect on the performance of your PC like most anti-virus software. The license for all the computers starts when you activate it on the first computer, so make sure you activate it on all the computers on the same day, or lose some of the time included in the license.

I am really annoyed with the poor service provided by Kaspersky Internet Security 2010.

The software not only blocks adverts but also blocks websites without giving an error message. Working with websites, I encountered several non-loading websites and none of them displayed ANY error messages. This is just unreasonable and took me a lot of time to work out the problem. The only solution to this is to disable kaspersky completely.

Also, all of the 4 alerts the package has given me in the past 6 months of road testing were not real problems either. Just the software trying to be pretend it is doing something useful.

As the title says: Not for web developers! Or anyone who uses a computer for anything more than Facebook.

This is just unacceptable and therefore gets 1 out of 10.

I've always found Kaspersky to be an excellent product, that just gets on with its job without giving you the issues of other products.

Be warned that to get a full year of updates for all five computers you need to install the software on all five within 30 days!

It shows a certain degree of confidence that Microsoft released the beta version ages ago. Yes, there have been a few hiccups- but this is to be expected at this stage. Overall, it is easy to see why Microsoft have the leading Office software. The upgrade from Office 2007 to Office 2007 is very similar to upgrading Vista to Windows 7. Whilst the new ribbon look and feel is here to stay (despite criticisms, this really works for me- I do not know why this was not done earlier), Office 2010 just does everything that Office 2007 did, only better- plus there are some nice little extra's and tweaks- Excel users will lap up sparklines and improved formatting options for example. 10/10- the defining benchmark.

Very promising - P. Orr - UK
It's only a beta at present, but I'm having few problems with this unfinished software. There is the odd anomaly, but that's why it is still a beta. Backstage view is great, every app has been improved, hideous Wordart is finally gone, and Publisher - always an ugly duckling - has at least been brought up to date.

Can't wait for Release Candidate and final release. Microsoft has got its Mojo back.

As a Microsoft Office 2007 user, I was given the opportunity to download Office 2010 for free from microsoft. I am an XP media centre user and office 2010 meets my computer system requirements. Download was easy, instalation was straigtforward, the programmes came on with no problem. Compared to 2007, 2010 truely seems to offer a lot more.

The problems then started, having writen a letter in Word, which printed fine, I tried to save it as a titled document. It refused to do this coming up with an alert that word had insuffient memory to perform this action, and could only save the document as a rescued document. Yet arcording to my computer there was no issues with memory or hard disc space, far from it I had plenty to spare.

I checked Microsoft web site for a solution, but could not find one. I then did a google search and discovered since December 09 there were other users who had the same problems. That even the geeks amoung them could not resolve.

As the download cost me nothing the only thing I wasted was my own time. I ended up uninstalling office 2010 and reinstalling my office 2007. The funny thing is that 2007 works on my computer with no problems.

May be when they do release 2010 for sale they will have solved this issue. But frankly I found the whole experience of 2010 depressing partically as it worked well, but could not save any files in 'save as' mode.

I am very disappointed with this software. I was looking to replace a brilliant little programme that came with my printer, unfortunately now redundent because it is not compatible with Windows 7. I find Corel Paintshop Photo Express 2010 incredibly inflexible. It is just full of templates I don't want to use. I want to create freestyle pages for photo albums, and also cards where I can do more than just have a picture on the front and back in a fixed place and a fixed size. "Fun" seems to be the only tab on the "choice" of styles! So unless I'm missing something, this is a programme far inferior to free programmes that come with good printers.

PhotoShop Express 2010 - Disappointed - UK
I have tried many photo packages over the years and PhotoShop Express 2010 is the worse package I've ever used. It has a good visual presentation and a modern approach. The designers, however have completely neglected building in the flexibility to sort and organize photo's. This is particularly the case for users starting off with a large number of photo's in folders. For years I have used Corel Photo Album 6. This is no longer available and Corel will only sell Corel Album 7 to US customers. Corel Album 6 although oldfashioned in appearance is absolutely superb for sorting and organizing photo's.

Publisher has finally got a update which makes it look more like the other programs in the package. Wordart and fonts have been update for the first time in years which is great. this version like 2007 works on XP, Vista and 7.
